Our practical courses run all the year round from our sheltered marina base. We provide all wet weather gear & safety equipment and provide you with a suggested list of what to bring.

The price of the course also includes fuel, mooring fees & food. Make sure you tell us in advance if you have any special food requirements. You will live on board the yacht as part of the course, stop off in various ports to explore ashore & sleep on the boat. A Channel crossing may involve sailing overnight - working watches with your fellow crewmates.

Students are only asked to bring spending money for the odd meal onshore & "beer money", although it is a school tradition to start you off with a couple of bottles of wine, for the first night in port.
