RYA DIESEL MAINTENANCE

We have a new purpose built, trolley mounted Volvo 2030 diesel training engine with battery, fuel, cooling water all connected... start it, stop it, fix it!!

The course is most particularly suitable for people with no technical training or expertise. This one-day course gives an awareness of the main systems of a marine diesel engine so that the yachtsman can take simple measures to prevent mechanical breakdown at sea and rectify defects, which do not require workshop support. The maximum number of people we take on the course is six. Courses run from 0900 - 1700, dates are available on request.

The cost of the course is £80.00 which includes a very useful book of course notes.
